On Fishing

Of course, the entire trip cannot be about the golf, the whole golf, and nothing but the golf. For one thing, I will be dragging along – that is to say, fortunate to have – family and friends along for the experience. And, hard though it may to believe, not all of them will be interested in flying 2,000 miles and then playing 36 holes of golf a day for two weeks straight.

One of the other main objectives of the trip – besides the castles – will be the fishing. Fly fishing. For trout. Big trout. And salmon. Bigger salmon.
